This campaign for Duolingo is based on a creative brief for the "Young Ones" competition. Me and my team which consisted of 3 other students were tasked with getting Gen Z and millennials to sign up to learn a new language with Duolingo by creating a buzz worthy event that taps into their fandom and help them get more out of what they love. Not only do we want them to sign up, but we want them to stay consistent with their language lessons. Our solution was to tap into the Bad Bunny fandom and create incentives for users, by creating a point system that would get them rewards, the biggest reward being tickets to a Bad Bunny concert. This creates competition and desire within the fandom, and keeps users interested in the app during the campaign, while also creating a sense of brand loyalty within the Bad Bunny fandom!
